A camera in a school in Utah showed moments of emotion when an 11-year-old student learned of news from a family.
The girl Tana Butterfield jumped spontaneously and childishly as she ran toward the headmaster's office, where Jackie Alexander, the director, immediately embraced the news.
"I have lived through all the feelings of excitement and happiness that Tana lived, and we could not break each other out of the embrace, and the joy of the purest," said Alexander, 45, of ABC News.
The woman added that she had met Tana, a sixth-grader, for almost two years. "It's the only one that has created a relationship with her and has continued with all her might," she said.
